Daryl Selby took the Reliable Networks BSPA Grand Prix Finals with a hard fought victory over fellow England international Adrian Grant at the Roehampton Club. Ben bags second PSA win with Ipswich title

Last few days to enter Off The Wall event at Ardleigh

Don’t forget, the closing date for the one-day Off The Wall Tournament at Ardleigh on June 8th is this Friday. This event is aimed at junior players who are just starting out and have little or no tournament experience. Ellie, Elise and ‘Streaky’ Bacon are red hot in Redbridge

Essex players grabbed six of the 11 trophies up for grabs at last weekend’s Redbridge Junior Open organised by coach Dave Lazarus. County under-13 champion Ellie Hewes (above), from Colchester, has been in a rich vein of form this season and she secured more silverware by winning the RJO Under-15 trophy beating Surrey’s Natalie Chak.



It’s Harrow Cup time…put July 5-6 in your diaries

Great news for everyone who enjoyed last year’s Harrow Eastern Cup…the event is back on again in July this year. Players from Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk and a combined Herts/Beds squad named Chiltern will compete in teams comprised of three boys and two girls in all age groups from U11 through to U17. British Open: Nick Matthew books clash with Daryl

England claim two more European titles

England today added the under-17 and under-15 European team titles to the under-19 crown they won last month when they beat France 2-0 in both finals in Prague. Sizzling Bacon takes Berkhamsted title

Lexden’s Tim Bacon overcame fellow Essex player Ollie Green to land the Berkhamsted BEST series one-day bronze event last week. Both events are running boys and girls Under-11, Under-13, Under-17, and Under-19 categories over the two days of competition. Peter Barker stuns Nick Matthew to clinch PSL crown

ESSEX star Peter Barker produced a stunning straight-games win over world champion Nick Matthew as Surrey Health and Rackets fought back from two down to win the PSL title for a sixth time.
